Barbara Bray is a Creative Learning Strategist at Rethinking Learning and owner/founder of My eCoach, both divisions of her company, Computer Strategies, LLC. She is a writer, speaker, instructional designer, futurist, coach, and co-author of two books on personalized learning; Make Learning Personal and How to Personalize Learning. Barbara wrote the professional development column for CUE for 17 years and was awarded the CUE Gold and Platinum disks for her contributions to the advancement of education technology for teaching and learning. She has been involved with Digital Promise as an assessor for the micro-credentials since 2014 and is a #TeachSDGs ambassador for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She co-hosts her Twitter chat, #rethink_learning every other Monday with Shelly Vohra @raspberryberet3 with different guest hosts each chat. Barbara is the host of her podcast Conversations on Learning with inspirational educators and thought leaders to share their stories. It's all about their stories and their WHY.

Barbara works with schools, districts, businesses, and non-profit organizations around the world to support the development of innovative learner-centered, competency-based systems that empower agency and the development of globally connected cultures of learning. Barbara has been doing keynotes, strategic planning, presentations, playshops, webinars, and interviews on developing learner agency, design thinking, the UN Goals. Barbara is now doing presentations and coaching to complement her upcoming book, “Define Your Why: Own and Tell Your Story So You can Learn and Live on Purpose” as part of the EduMatch Publishing family.
